AVL.FitSegmentToPoints_LTE

Approximates points with a segment using Least Trimmed Error algorithm.

Namespace:AvlNet
Assembly:AVL.NET.dll

Syntax

C++
C#

public static void FitSegmentToPoints_LTE
(
	IList<AvlNet.Point2D> inPoints,
	AvlNet.Range? inRange,
	int inSeedSubsetSize,
	int? inEvalSubsetSize,
	out AvlNet.Segment2D outSegment,
	NullableRef<List<AvlNet.Point2D>> outLTInliers,
	NullableValue<float> outLTError,
	out int diagIterationCount
)

Parameters

Name Type Range Default Description
inPointsSystem.Collections.Generic.IList<AvlNet.Point2D>Input points.
inRangeAvlNet.Range?Determines which array points take part in fitting process. Default value: atl::NIL.
inSeedSubsetSizeint<2, 10>3Number of points in one combination for getting a sample segment. Default value: 3.
inEvalSubsetSizeint?<3, INF>Number of closest points used for evaluation of a sample segment, or Auto if seed points are to be used. Default value: atl::NIL.
outSegmentAvlNet.Segment2DFitted segment.
outLTInliersAvlNet.NullableRef<System.Collections.Generic.List<AvlNet.Point2D>>Inlying points of the best LTE segment. Can be null to skip this parameter calculation.
outLTErrorAvlNet.NullableValue<float>The Least Trimmed Error. Can be null to skip this parameter calculation.
diagIterationCountintNumber of combinations considered.
