AVL.AverageChannels_Linked(AvlNet.Image, AvlNet.Region, AvlNet.Image)

Creates a monochromatic image by averaging the input image channels. The output image may keep a reference to data owned by the input image.

Parameters

inImage
Type: AvlNet.Image

Range of pixels to be processed, or null.
outImage
Type: AvlNet.Image
Output image

Hardware Acceleration

This operation is optimized for SSE2 technology for pixels of type: 3xUINT8.

This operation supports automatic parallelization for multicore and multiprocessor systems.

Hardware acceleration settings may be manipulated with Settings class.
