AVL.CreateArcFittingMap

Precomputes a data object that is required for fast arc fitting on images.

Namespace:AvlNet
Assembly:AVL.NET.dll

Syntax

C++
C#

public static void CreateArcFittingMap
(
	AvlNet.ImageFormat inImageFormat,
	AvlNet.ArcFittingField inFittingField,
	int inScanCount,
	int inScanWidth,
	AvlNet.SamplingParams inSamplingParams,
	AvlNet.ArcFittingMap outFittingMap
)

Parameters

Name Type Range Default Description
inImageFormatAvlNet.ImageFormatDimensions, depth and pixel type of the images on which fitting will be performed.
inFittingFieldAvlNet.ArcFittingFieldDefines a ring section in which scan segments will be created.
inScanCountint<3, INF>10The number of points that will be searched to estimate the position of the arc. Default value: 10.
inScanWidthint<1, INF>5The width of each scan field (in pixels). Default value: 5.
inSamplingParamsAvlNet.SamplingParams.interpolation BilinearParameters controlling the sampling process. Default value: .interpolation Bilinear.
outFittingMapAvlNet.ArcFittingMapOptimized data required for arc fitting.

Description

The operation creates a series of scan maps that can be later used by other Shape Fitting filters. Each scan map corresponds to a single scan segment of inScanWidth length.

The optional parameter inFittingFieldAlignment defines the transform to be performed on the inFittingField so that the result is defined in a new context, e.g. returned by one of Template Matching filters.
